We're off to a great start and we look forward to finishing strong.  It has been an amazing year so far, and we have a lot planned for the second semester, so get ready to hit the ground running.  And remember, it's always a great day to be part of the JCES/PGSD team!!

Teacher of the Year!!!

The Jackson County Exceptional School would like to congratulate Ms. Latasha Lewis.  She was chosen to represent the JCES as our Teacher of the Year, and I have no doubt that she will do an amazing job.  She’s an accomplished teacher who gives her all to the school and students each and every day.  We are proud to have Ms. Lewis on our team and we look forward to many great things in the future.  Congratulations, Ms. Lewis!!!

    UPCOMING EVENTS

      1.  Sign language classes will resume on Wednesday, 01/11/17 from 4:30-5:30 at the Exceptional School.  
      2.  Unified Basketball is in full swing, so come out to our next game on Jan 12th @ Ocean Springs. 
      3.  Our Mardi Gras Ball is set for February 24th.    
    Community Involvement

    At the Exceptional School, it is strongly encouraged for parents to become involved.  It is our desire to see each student reach his or her fullest potential, and to make that happen we must have a parent's support.  To find out how you can get involved, please email either bsteiner@pgsd.ms or rrumfelt@pgsd.ms for more information. 

    Current Events

    Layton's Pool Service has made the water look so inviting that not swimming is a challenge.  Thank you so much for all your hard work and we look forward to working with you this year.  

     

     

    Music at Lake Elementary

    Our kids love going Lake Elementary where they can take part in music every Friday.  Talk about education at its finest!
